About Us

I am Gerry Shapiro, my construction experience started when I began working for my father-in-law one summer vacation. From framing, drywall to finishing a home, I loved every step from beginning to end. Five years later I joined the United States Seabees and worked building projects for the local communities around the world. When we retired from the Seabees, I became a building inspector and really enjoyed my work. After moving to Montana, we decided to begin a new adventure. So Busy Bee Home Inspections was born.

Roundup is a warm and wonderful community; we love our rural lives and the beautiful views all around us. Our chicken coop is filled with the most spoiled chickens in Montana, who produce the most delicious eggs (a blessing in today’s market); they are my wife Pauline’s treasured pets and I’m not sure who is more excited to see the other when she goes to greet them.
